CHINESE EDUCATORS TO VISIT OLD DOMINION TODAY
A group of Chinese educators will visit Old Dominion University today as part of a U.S. tour focusing on prospects for distance education in China.
Dwight Allen, eminent professor of educational reform in the Darden College of Education, initiated the dialogue that has resulted in this visit. The visiting group includes executives from Qinghai Normal University, Sichuan University, Luxi County Education Department of Yunnan Province, as well as the China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges.
An informal reception for the visitors on 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the Virginia Rice Webb Room of Webb University Center.
