'PARENT CHATS' BEGIN JUNE 13 AT OLD DOMINION PARENTING CENTER
The Old Dominion University Parenting Center will continue its series of "Parent Chats" from 7:15-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at Old Dominion's Kiwanis Parenting Center, 45th Street and Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk.
The forums, led by Katharine Kersey, professor of early childhood education and chairperson of the Department of Early Childhood, Speech Pathology and Special Education at Old Dominion University, will provide an opportunity for parents in Hampton Roads to talk with other parents and seek guidance and suggestions for living more harmoniously and positively with their children.
Other chat sessions will be from 7:15-8:30pm Wednesday, July 11, and Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Parenting Center, room 246 of the Child Study Center at Old Dominion.
Parking passes will be distributed at the presentation.
Starting in September, the Parent Chats will be at 4 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. For more information, please call the Child Study Center at 683-4121.
