GARDEN OPEN NEAR DRAGAS CENTER

Members of the Old Dominion University community are enjoying a new garden recently completed on the Bluestone Avenue side of the Dragas International Center.

The garden was made possible through a gift from Regula Meier, former chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Old Dominion, and her children in memory of their husband and father Heinz Meier, former Louis Jaffe Professor History and Dean of the College of Arts and Letters, who died in 1989.

Patricia King, landscape superintendent at Old Dominion, provided the design for the Meier garden.
