UNIVERSITY GALLERY TO HOST CASKEY EXHIBIT
The Old Dominion University Gallery will host an exhibition of work by Kristin Caskey, a winner of the VCA Visual Arts fellowship in sculpture, March 17 to April 15. An opening reception will be held at the gallery at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 17.
An assistant professor of design at Virginia Commonwealth University, Caskey combines her experience in fashion design with the power of pattern to denote identity. The exhibit will consist of an installation of hanging perforated paper pieces and light.
Caskey earned her master's degree in fine arts from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and her bachelor's degree in fine arts from the Parsons School of Design in New York.
