'REAL SURVIVORS' FEATURES EYEWITNESSES TO EUROPE'S CATACLYSMIC EVENTS

An Austrian Jew who survived as a young girl in a Catholic convent in Belgium, an American bomber pilot who flew missions over Nazi Germany, a German who grew up in the Third Reich and an American who was stationed in West Berlin during the years of the Cold War will be the featured speakers at a Thursday, March 15, program sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

"The Real Survivors: Europe, 1939 - 1945," a program of speakers who survived the cataclysmic events in Europe in the middle of the last century, will be held from 3-5 p.m. in the Burgess Room of the Batten Arts and Letters Building. It is free and open to the public.
