OOP EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK AT MBA ASSOCIATION DINNER APRIL 7
Carl Hewitt, CEO and founder of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), will be the guest speaker at Old Dominion University's MBA Association and Propeller Club semi-formal spring dinner April 7. The dinner, which is open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. in Webb University Center's River Rooms.
In only two years, Hewitt made OOP, a company that builds complex software for the eBusiness world, into a highly respected and profitable eBusiness systems provider. He adopted Java programming in 1995 and began applying such approaches to developing OOP's advanced baseline technologies.
Recognized in the developer community as an expert architect of distributed-object software, Hewitt solely designed and built OOP's flagship product, jFramework. He has also led the design and development of OOP's other products, which enable object oriented approaches.
The dinner costs $20 and must be purchased before March 29. For more information or to make reservations, call the MBA office at 683-3585 or LaVaughn Barker at 714-4946.
