LADY MONARCHS TAKE ON WASHINGTON TONIGHT IN NCAA FIRST ROUND
The Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs face Washington in the first round of the 2001 NCAA Division 1 Champtionship tonight.
The Lady Monarchs, 21-8, are the No. 11 seed in the West Regional. They will face the 19-6 Huskies, the No. 6 seed. The game will be played on the campus of the University of Florida.. The bracket's second round game, also in Gainesville, is set for Sunday, March 18.
Old Dominion enters the tournament having won its 10th consecutive Colonial Athletic Association championship.
