FASHION AND ART MERGE IN GALLERY EXHIBIT

The Old Dominion University Gallery is hosting an exhibition of work by Kristin Caskey, a winner of the VCA Visual Arts fellowship in sculpture, through April 15.

An assistant professor of design at Virginia Commonwealth University, Caskey combines her experience in fashion design with the power of pattern to denote identity. The exhibit will consist of an installation of hanging perforated paper pieces and light.

Caskey earned her master's degree in fine arts from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and her bachelor's degree in fine arts from the Parsons School of Design in New York.
