CONSORTIUM SPONSORS TELECONFERENCE TODAY
"Making the Most of Teaching, Learning and Technology in Higher Education: Connected Education, Collaborative Change and Compassionate Pioneers" is the title of a live teleconference scheduled for March 30 and sponsored by the Virginia Tidewater Consortium.
The free program is will be held from 1-3 p.m. at WHRO-TV, across Hampton Boulevard from the Old Dominion campus.
During the teleconference, extensive research-based information will be presented through discussion and audience participation. The program will feature three nationally known experts on the use of technology in higher education, Steven W. Gilbert, Stephen C. Ehrmann and Randy Bass, who will share their experiences with the educational uses of information technology and discuss trends, patterns and strategies.
