WORKPLACE CONFLICT IS TOPIC FOR HACE GENERAL MEETING

Walease Reid, employee relations manager from the human resources department, will be the guest speaker for the Hourly and Classified Employees Association general meeting Wednesday, Feb. 28. She will discuss ways to effectively handle conflict in the workplace.

The meeting will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Portsmouth/Chesapeake Room of Webb Center.

Also at the meeting, the HACE Nomination Committee will present the following slate of officers for 2001-02: president, Fern McDougal; first vice president, Pat Beauter; second vice president, Theresa Matthews; corresponding secretary, Lennis Whitaker; recording secretary, Phyllis Brown; and treasurer, Judy Smith.

All classified and hourly employees are invited to attend.
