Old Dominion University's 2001 Scholarship Competition will be Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 17 and 18, in Webb University Center and the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Students, competing for aid up to a four-year full scholarship, will be interviewed by university faculty and will complete essays as part of the competition. Students and their parents will be welcomed by university President James V. Koch and John R. Broderick, vice president for institutional advancement.

Old Dominion University awards more than 350 merit-based scholarships annually, amounting to nearly $3 million in academic support.
