PORTSMOUTH ROLLS OUT THE RED CARPET FOR FACULTY

Old Dominion University art faculty members Stephen Carpenter and Rita Marlier are among eight artists whose work is featured in "Content and Form Poetics in Ceramic Art," an exhibit running through April 4 at the Courthouse Galleries in Portsmouth.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 1 from 6-8 p.m.

The Portsmouth gallery also will host a poetry reading by Tim Seibles, assistant professor of English, at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4.

Both events are free and open to the public.
