FEB. 25 CONCERT WILL FEATURE ROCK BAND FUEL

The contemporary rock band Fuel, whose CD "Something Like Human" was gold-certified within five weeks of its September 2000 release, will play at Old Dominion University's Athletic Administration Building practice Sunday, Feb. 25. The music will kick-off at 5 p.m., immediately following the Lady Monarchs' basketball game against George Mason University.

Sponsored by Old Dominion's Student Activities Council and the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, the concert is produced by Whisper Entertainment.

Tickets, which are available through TicketMaster and Old Dominion's Campus Information Center in Webb University Center, are $5 in advance and $7 at the door for Old Dominion students with university ID, and $7 in advance and $10 at the door for the general public. Concert admission is free for any Old Dominion student who attends the basketball game. The game ticket must be validated.

Well-known for their current hit single "Hemorrhage," the Epic recording artists' 1998 release, "Sunburn," sold more than a million copies in the U.S. and includes the hit single "Shimmer," which hit #1 on Billboard magazine's Modern Rock Track Chart and was declared the most-played track on modern rock radio in 1998 by Radio & Records magazine.
