GALLERY HOSTS PANEL DISCUSSION WITH ARTISTS

The Old Dominion University Gallery will host a panel discussion to accompany its current exhibition at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at the gallery, 350 W. 21st St., Norfolk. Ron Snapp, an Old Dominion painting instructor, will serve as moderator.

The exhibition, titled "Will," explores compulsion and runs through Feb. 4. It features paintings by three Old Dominion alumni, Federico Correa and Scott Denham, both of Norfolk, and Jon Eicher of New York City, as well as Scott Anderson of Hartford, Ind.; Mary Anne Baird of Norfolk; Brian Bishop of Durham, N.C.; Carol Ann Carter of Lawrence, Kan.; Kevin Cole of Atlanta; Carol Griffith of Columbus, Ohio; and Moritz Kellerman of Chicago.

Artists scheduled to participate in the panel are Baird, Bishop, Correa, Denham and Eicher.

The discussion and exhibit are free and open to the public. The University Gallery is located in Norfolk's historic Ghent and is open noon to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. For more information call 683-2355.
