DEADLINE IS TODAY TO REGISTER FOR FACULTY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS ON S.E. ASIA

Friday, Dec. 15, is the deadline to register for a series of faculty development workshops on Southeast Asia, sponsored by the Institute of Asian Studies. The free Saturday workshops are open to full- and part-time faculty.

Four workshops will be offered, starting Jan. 27 with Southeast Asian geography. Other workshops will cover history and culture, economics and business, and politics and international relations.

One of the objectives of the workshops is to help faculty acquire expertise on Southeast Asia and enable them to create new courses and/or infuse Southeast Asian content into existing courses.
