THE ARTS COME ALIVE THIS MONTH AT OLD DOMINION
From choir performances to dance and art exhibits, Old Dominion University will present several arts activities in November. Unless specifically noted, all events are free and open to the public. Locations are on Old Dominion's Norfolk campus unless otherwise listed.
Friday, Nov. 3 � Cultural Matinee: "East Meets West: Landscape and Literature," a lecture and slide show focusing on landscape as a source of inspiration for literature in various Eastern and Western cultures. 3 p.m. in the Burgess Room, ninth floor of the Batten Arts and Letters Building. Thursday, Nov. 9, through Sunday, Dec. 3 � "Field of Vision," an exhibit of paintings, sculptures and assemblages by Prix de Rome winner Bert Long.
