HOLIDAY BLOOD DRIVE TODAY AT WEBB CENTER

Beta Beta Beta, the biological sciences honor society at Old Dominion University, and the Pre-Health Club are sponsoring a blood drive for university faculty and students from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the north mall of Webb University Center.

Representatives from the American Red Cross will be drawing blood. Last year's Tri-Beta/Pre-Health drive netted 122 pints. Organizers are hoping this year for as many as 150 pints. Students also are being asked to bring canned food items, which will be given to local food banks for the holidays, to the drive.
