GREEN CAREERS ARE THE SUBJECT OF TELECONFERENCE FROM OLD DOMINION NOV. 9
Old Dominion University will host a videoconference on environmental careers Thursday, Nov. 9.
The Environmental Career Center in Hampton will broadcast via satellite a jobs conference from noon to 2 p.m. from room 221 of the Gornto TELETECHNET Center at Old Dominion to local videoconference centers nationwide.
"Green Careers Videoconference 2000" employers and panelists will provide expert advice and answer questions on employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in career fields such as renewable energy, green consumer products, recycled materials, eco-design, eco-tourism, energy efficiency, environmental activism and environmental education.
The conference is designed to help job seekers, career changers, college students, and recent graduates and to provide
excellent recruiting opportunities for environmental employers. Registration fee is $95.
