STRESS REDUCTION PROGRAM OCT. 31 IN WEBB CENTER
Employees who are feeling stressed out can learn how to chill out in a free session offered this month by the Department of Human Resources, "Living Mindfully: A Stress Reduction Program."
Scheduled for 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, in the York/Potomac River Room of Webb Center, the program will emphasize tapping into inner resources, according to facilitator Joan Hecht.
Participants will be guided and encouraged to improve their health "by building on the natural wisdom of our bodies and minds, and by shifting toward a centered and relaxed relationship with ourselves and the world in which we live," said Hecht, coordinator for the Darden College of Education's CHANCE and TOPPS programs.
