VIRGINIAN-PILOT GARDENING COLUMNIST TO ADDRESS BIOLOGY SEMINAR SERIES

Robert Stiffler, garden columnist for The Virginian-Pilot, will be the guest speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 14, installment of the Old Dominion University Department of Biological Sciences Seminar Series.

Stiffler's presentation, titled "A Walk Through My Garden," will be at 12:30 p.m. in room 101 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building. The session is open to the public and parking is available at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.

Stiffler is president of the Norfolk Botanical Garden Society. With more than 20 years in horticultural advertising, from product marketing to president of an ad agency, he is one of the most respected agricultural/horticultural communicators in the industry.
