20TH ANNIVERSARY OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES CELEBRATED

The 20th anniversary of what is now the Office of International Student and Scholar Services at Old Dominion University will be observed with a reception from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the River Rooms of Webb University Center.

The university's international student population has grown from 221 nonresident international students in 1980 to 1,230 in fall 1999. More than 300 permanent resident students and more than 120 visiting scholars also visit Old Dominion from overseas.
