CNN PROFILES DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM VIA THE WEB

Old Dominion University's distance learning program was the subject of a profile this weekend on CNNdotCOM, a cable program highlighting uses of the World Wide Web.

The piece featured Donald H. Smith, associate professor of sociology at Old Dominion, and Virginia Fedor, a student in Fairfax, Va., who is taking Smith's introduction to social research class through TELETECHNET, the university's interactive distance learning network.
