ARNOLDO VALLE-LEVINSON PROVIDES EXPERTISE ON CNN

Arnoldo Valle-Levinson, assistant professor of ocean, earth and atmospheric sciences, was a guest last Monday on the CNN midday show "Burden of Proof." Hosts Greta Van Susteren and Roger Cossack spoke with Valle-Levinson by phone regarding his expertise in ocean and river currents for the show, which examined the use of DNA in criminal cases.

A member of the Old Dominion faculty since 1992, Valle-Levinson received the Early Career Award from the National Science Foundation last spring for his proposed research on the hydrodynamic exchange between estuaries and their adjacent waters.
