PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS INVITED TO ADMISSIONS OPEN HOUSE/BARBECUE AUG. 12

Prospective Old Dominion University students are invited to an admissions open house and barbecue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, on the Norfolk campus.

Faculty and representatives from university admissions, financial aid, athletics and student services offices will be on hand to provide information and assist in the admissions process. Information on the university's six academic colleges also will be available.

The open house begins at the Elizabeth River Beach behind Whitehurst Hall (near Powhatan Avenue at 48th Street) and includes a guided tour of student living quarters and dining facilities and a self-guided tour of other campus buildings. The event concludes with a barbecue on Kaufman Mall in front of Webb University Center. The rain site is inside Webb Center.
