OLD DOMINION RESEARCHER FEATURED IN CHICAGO TRIBUNE
An Old Dominion University researcher's work was featured in Tuesday's Chicago Tribune.
Debra Major, associate professor of psychology, was interviewed by Tribune workplace columnist Carol Kleiman about Major's research about working mothers' relationships with their bosses. Major and doctoral student Karyn Bernas found that a close relationship with one's supervisor can reduce stress on the job while increasing work/family conflict.
Another article on the research is featured in this month's Psychology of Women Quarterly, the journal of the Women's Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association.
