"The Sexual Revolution of the 20th Century" is the topic of a symposium on campus scheduled for April 7-8, sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

The symposium frames the history of sexuality from a variety of academic disciplines and interdisciplinary perspectives. The keynote address, "Bodies of Evidence: Showgirls and Crimes of the Century" by Linda Mizejewski of the Ohio State University English department, will be from 4:45-5:45 p.m. Friday, April 7, in the Burgess Room of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.

Other speakers will cover topics including the role of women in the former Soviet Union, feminist approaches to international relations and "The New Women of the Roaring '20s." More than 20 presentations are scheduled.

Most of the sessions will be held in the Burgess Room of BAL. All are free and open to the public.
