OLD DOMINION ALUMNUS TO SPEAK ON CAMPUS APRIL 13

Jamie Maughan, an Old Dominion University alumnus and vice president of ecological assessment at CH2M Hill in Boston, will discuss "Environmental Evaluation Methods: How to convert a Degree in Biology to Non-Academic Employment" at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Room 102 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.

Maughan, who received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Old Dominion in 1971, will comment on how we evaluate environmental effects in our current regulatory and public system. Various methods of evaluation and the appropriate application of each method will be described.

His session is part of the Old Dominion Department of Biological Sciences Seminar Series. The public is invited. Parking is available at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.
