MULTICULTURAL AWARDS CEREMONY IS APRIL 16

The Office of Multiculutral Student Services will sponsor the third annual Asian, Hispanic/Latino and Native American Student Academic Recognition Ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, in the North Cafeteria of Webb University Center.

This ceremony recognizes graduating seniors, the academic achievements of students and their accomplishments within multicultural student organizations.

This year's program will also recognize a student leader as a "multicultural innovator" who demonstrates the ability to connect cultures through participation in multiculutral student organizations.

The keynote speaker will be Maria Luisa Igloria, visiting associate professor of English and Filipino-American Studies at Old Dominion.
