HISTORY OF BLACK HAIRSTYLES EXPLAINED DURING WEDNESDAY SESSION

"Back to Our Roots," a presentation on black hairstyles from past to present, will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the Chesapeake Room of Webb University Center at Old Dominion University.

The event, in conjunction with the university's observance of Black History Month, is sponsored by Black Student Alliance and Ebony Impact.

An open rehearsal by the university's gospel choir, Ebony Impact, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in Room 104 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building. The event is sponsored by the group.
