BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENTS CONTINUE AT OLD DOMINION
Mixed-media art by Old Dominion University faculty, staff and students will be highlighted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the North Mall of Webb University Center. The presentation is part of the university's observance of Black History Month.
Also Tuesday, a discussion about African-American women making a difference in today's society will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Rabbi Reich Room in Webb. The event is sponsored by the Women's Center.
"What Does Black Love Have to Do With It?", in-depth discussion about intimate relationships between African-American men and women, will be at 6 p.m. in Webb's Hampton/Newport News Room and is sponsored by the Black Student Alliance.
At 7:30 p.m., an presentation on how distinguished African-American men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity made a difference in American history. The event will be in the Hampton/ Newport News Room and is sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
