VCU TOADFISH EXPERT TO SPEAK DEC. 2 FOR SCIENCE LECTURE SERIES
Michael Fine of the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Biology will discuss "The Toadfish Swimbladder as Sound-Producing Organ: A New Paradigm?" at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in Room 101 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.
Fine has demonstrated that sound produced by the oyster toadfish is related to speed of swimbladder movement.
The session is part of the Biology Seminar Series. The public is invited to all seminars. Parking is available at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.
