GEORGIA RESEARCHER TO DISCUSS LONGLEAF PINES TODAY

Lindsay Boring of the J.W. Jones Ecological Research Center in Newton, Ga., will discuss "Influences of Fire on Nitrogen Dynamics in Longleaf Pine-Wiregrass Ecosystems" at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, in Room 101 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.

Boring will address the influences of prescribed fire upon biogeochemical processes in Longleaf Pine ecosystems.

The session is part of the Biology Seminar Series. The public is invited to all seminars. Parking is available at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.
