APPLE PEST CONTROL IS TOPIC OF LECTURE TODAY
Majd Jamal of Damascus University will discuss perspectives on apple pest management in Syria at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in Room 101 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.
Jamal will discuss current research on apple pest management along with a description of key pests, their biology, the use of local biological control agents and the limited use of environmentally friendly pesticides.
The session is part of the Biology Seminar Series. The public is invited to all seminars. Parking is available at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.
