"WORKING WITH MEN" WORKSHOP TO BE HELD OCT. 8

Samuel Osherson, chair of the psychology department at the Fielding Institute, will give a workshop on "Working With Men" from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 in the Hampton/Newport News Room at Webb University Center.

The workshop will explore the basic male struggle with love, anger and shame, and how these feelings shape men's experiences of counseling. Participants will also discuss the meaning of work for men and how men are affected by career changes, promoting, job loss and women in the labor force.

Part of the Leaders in Counseling and Psychology Series, the workshop is sponsored by Old Dominion University's Darden College of Education Programs for Continued Learning Office. The cost for the one-day workshop is $109.
