SALVADORAN POET IS GUEST SPEAKER OCT. 26

Salvadoran poet Claribel Alegr�a will deliver a talk and reading as part of the Distinguished Latin American Lecture Series at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 26, in room 915 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.

A reception and book signing will follow. Alegr�a, who also writes fiction and testimonials, has just published a new volume of poetry.

This event is sponsored by the Latin American Studies Minor, the departments of Foreign Languages and Literatures, History, and Political Science and Geography, the Center for Regional and Global Study, and the College of Arts & Letters.
