RED ALGAE DISCUSSED DURING NOV. 4 SEMINAR

Sharon Broadwater of the College of William and Mary biology department will discuss red algae at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in Room 101 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building as part of the Department of Biological Sciencecs Seminar Series.

Broadwater poses the question "Is the World's Oldest Multicellular Parasite a Red Alga?" Her area of research includes the study of algae in general, as well as living organisms and the structure and molecular systems of marine red algae.
