FILM SERIES "CHILDREN IN A TROUBLED WORLD" CONTINUES OCT. 5
"Through Children's Eyes III: Children in a Troubled World," the annual film series sponsored by In Support of Children advocacy group at Old Dominion University, continues Oct. 5 with "Los Olvidados."
"Los Olvidados," or "The Young and the Damned," is the 1950 story of youths in Mexican slums. It will be shown at 7 p.m. in Room 107 of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center.
Other films in the series include:
Oct. 20 - "The 400 Blows," the 1959 Francois Truffaut film about violent children; and
Nov. 9 - "Peter Pan," the 1953 animated Disney classic.
