CANDLELIGHT VIGIL TO KICK OFF SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS WEEK AT OLD DOMINION
The fourth annual Candlelight Vigil to demonstrate men's support for ending violence against women will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in front of Webb Univerity Center. The vigil will kick off a weeklong series of activities, sponsored by the Women's Center, marking Sexual Assault Awareness Week Oct. 25-29 at Old Dominion University.

Tuesday, Oct. 26
�"Sexual Assault: The Drama of Violence," 12:30 p.m., Hampton/Newport News Room, Webb Center. The Old Dominion Forensics Team will present a series of dramatic readings.
�"African-American Images in the Media: Sex, Roles, and Confusion," 7 p.m., Cape Charles/Isle of Wight Room, Webb Center.
Wednesday, Oct. 27
�"Surviving," noon, Chesapeake Room, Webb Center. Survivors of sexual assault will share their stories.
�"Sexual Violence and the Lesbian/Gay Community," 3 p.m., Chesapeake Room, Webb Center.
�"Men and Women: Healthy Sexual Decision-Making," 7 p.m., Whitehurst Hall.

�"Acquaintance Rape: What Does That Have to Do with Me?" 12:30 p.m., James/Lynnhaven River Room, Webb Center.
�"Stalking and Sexual Assault: Where Do the Lines Cross?" 7 p.m., Isle of Wight Room, Webb Center.
Friday, Oct. 29
�"Celebration of Hope," noon, Cape Charles Room, Webb Center. A celebration of the gift of recovery, support and cooperative efforts to end violence, this program is designed to help survivors and those close to them start building a healthy future.
