WOMEN'S STUDIES HOSTS NOONTIME TALK ON "IRANIAN MEMORIES"

The women's studies program kicks off its fall lecture series today with a talk by Farideh Dayanim Goldin on "Iranian Memories."

A student in the creative writing program and a past winner in the Women's Studies Undergraduate Essay Contest, Goldin will read from her memoirs. The program is scheduled for 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Burgess Room of the Batten Arts and Letters Building and is free and open to the public.

The women's studies program will offer seven events for its fall series this semester. For more information call 683-3823.
