WARD FEATURED IN FACULTY RECITAL OCT. 4

Old Dominion University associate professor of music Frank Ward Jr. will be the featured performer during a music faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, in Chandler Recital Hall of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Ward's recital will include arias by Handel, German lieders by Schubert, songs by African-American composers Howard Swanson and Harry T. Burleigh and compositions by Norfolk's Michael Raphael and John David Earnest of New York.

Ward will be accompanied by Charles Woodward on piano and William Bartolotta on trumpet.
