RECREATIONAL SPORTS TO HOST TOURNAMENTS FOR FACULTY AND STAFF

From basketball to golf to the annual Turkey Trot, the recreational sports department is hosting a variety of sports tournaments for faculty and staff this fall.

The schedule is as follows:

3 ON 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Saturday, Sept. 11
Athletic Administration Gym
Men's and Women's Divisions
Entry Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 9

3 ON 3 OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Saturday, Oct. 2
Powhatan Field Complex
Men's, Women's and Co-Ed Divisions
Entry Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 30

TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Begins Monday September 9 and continues throughout the semester
Divisions: Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles
Levels: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced
Entry Deadline: Friday, Sept. 10
Participants Meeting: Tuesday, Sept. 14, 5 p.m., Athletic Admin. Conference Room

FACULTY LEAGUE SOFTBALL
Monday, Sept. 27 and Oct. 11
Powhatan Field Complex
Entry Deadline: Friday, Sept. 24
Also includes, Preseason Softball Tournament on Sept. 18
Entry Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 16

SCRAMBLE GOLF TOURNAMENT
Saturday, Oct. 9
Bide-A-Wee Golf Course
Cost: $51.00 (Includes Greens Fees, Cart, Lunch and Prizes)

ANNUAL TURKEY TROT
Tuesday, Nov. 16
Foreman Field
Events include: 1 mile run, fun relays, three legged race and much, much more
Prizes: Thanksgiving Dinner Turkeys
Entry Deadline: Friday, Nov. 12
