OLD DOMINION NATIONALLY RANKED FOR PERCENTAGE OF SMALL CLASSES
Old Dominion University ranked 21st in the country last year for the percentage of classes with fewer than 20 students, according to the "America's Best Colleges" edition of U.S. News and World Report magazine, published recently.
Sixty-seven percent of Old Dominion's classes fall into that category, tying it with Carnegie Mellon University and ranking it ahead of institutions such as Northwestern and Tufts universities.
"Best Colleges" is marketed as a guide to help families sort through the vast quantities of data on more than 1,400 colleges and universities in the United States.
