FORMER PILOT TO DISCUSS AFRICAN-AMERICAN ROLE IN WW 2

Aubrey Escoffery will discuss the role of African-Americans in World War II during the meeting tonight, Sept. 21, of Old Dominion University President James V. Koch's class, "World War II: As They Experienced It."

Escoffery, an Army Air Corps pilot, will speak during the class, which starts at 8:30 p.m. in Room 202 of the Gornto TELETECHNET Center.

Distinguished World War II veterans will be guest speakers throughout the semester. A complete schedule is available at http://web.odu.edu/webroot/classes/hist495.nsf.

Guests are welcome to attend classes on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made by calling 683-3018 or 3159.
