CONSORTIUM WORKSHOP FOR FACULTY TO COVER TESTING, LECTURING, QUESTIONING SKILLS

The Virginia Tidewater Consortium for Higher Education's Center for Effective Teaching offers its Fall Faculty Program Friday and Saturday, Sept. 17-18, at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center.

The free workshop is open to all faculty from consortium institutions (including Old Dominion). The Sept. 17 session, set for 1-4 p.m., will feature "Testing," presented by Robert Hanny, professor of education at the College of William and Mary.

The Sept. 18 sessions are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will cover "Lecturing," by Lawrence G. Dotolo, president of VTCHE, and "Questioning Skills," led by Anne Savage, associate vice president for academic affairs at Old Dominion.
