AWARD-WINNING FILMMAKER TO DISCUSS AIDS

Jennifer Jako, AIDS activist and filmmaker, will discuss her film "Blood Lines" from 7-9 p.m. today, Sept. 21, in the North Cafeteria of Webb University Center.

Jako contracted HIV through heterosexual contact with her boyfriend in her late teens. She created "Blood Lines," an award-winning short film that is "intelligent, poetic and hip," said Pamela A. Waitkus, health education coordinator at Old Dominion University. The film will be shown during her appearance.

Classes are encouraged to attend. Extra-credit chits will be available. For more information, call 683-1317 or 683-5927.
