CENTERS HOLD OPEN HOUSE, BLOCK PARTY SEPT. 7

Old Dominion University's Hugo A. Owens African-American Cultural Center and Filipino-American Student Cultural Center hold open houses and a block party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The events will be held at the centers located on the Old Dominion campus at 1411 and 1417 W. 49th St., Norfolk.

Ethnic food, entertainment and music will be provided and visitors can take tours of the two centers.
