University Wins 2nd Place in National Student Affairs Case Study

Students in Old Dominion University's introduction to student affairs course wins second place in the national 18th Annual StudentAffairs.com Virtual Case Study Competition. Each team member will be awarded a prize of $150. This year's case study scenario involved creating and implementing asynchronous training to complement traditional coursework. 60 teams from 41 institutions submitted final projects.

"I am very proud of the teams that represented ODU in the annual Student Affairs.com annual case study," said Don Stansberry, dean of students and associate vice president for Student Engagement and Enrollment Services (SEES). "I am even more excited that we were able to take second place in this national event."

Every year since 2002, StudentAffairs.com has sponsored a Virtual Case Study (VCS) Competition for master's level students. Each team member must be currently enrolled in a master's level program in student affairs administration, counseling, or higher education for the corresponding spring term for a minimum of three credits.
