Finance Department Awards Apple iPad to Student

In an effort to reduce the cost of printing paper W2s, and to encourage University employees to receive their tax documents electronically, the Old Dominion Office of Finance recently held a drawing for an Apple iPad.

Employees who signed up to receive their W2 electronically were eligible for the drawing.

Natallia Reid, a junior majoring in political science with a minor in environmental science, was the winner of the iPad giveaway. Reid said she was excited to win the iPad as it would replace an older version she owned.

The iPad was presented to Reid on March 12 by Mary Deneen, assistant vice president for finance/University controller.
