Networking Event Jan. 24 Will Spotlight ODU Research Resources

Faculty and students seeking to tap into Old Dominion University's diverse community of researchers, and the network of resources that supports them, are invited to attend "Spring into Research" on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Sponsored by the Old Dominion University Libraries and Office of Research, the event will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Barry M. Kornblau Alumni Center. Light refreshments will be served.

There will be no formal program. Instead, representatives of the Office of Research, Information Technology Services, University Libraries, Academic Affairs, the Center for Teaching and Learning and the ODU Research Foundation will attend to share information about services and research support they offer to faculty members and graduate students.

The event is intended to inform faculty - especially new faculty - and graduate students about Old Dominion's research resources. It also aims to help spark collaborations across the University's academic colleges.

Other campus entities participating in the event include the Honors College, ODU Resilience Collaborative and the Social Science Research Center.

If you have questions about the program, please contact Daniel Campbell in the Office of Research at dcampbel@odu.edu. Online RSVPs are encouraged by Friday, Jan. 20.
