Old Dominion Rolls Out New Big Blue Icons for Athletics

Old Dominion University unveiled new Big Blue mascot logos on Monday. The spirit marks were created as an addition to the current Big Blue marks the University uses for athletic purposes.
The logos, created by Rickabaugh Graphics, based out of Gahanna, OH, are available to licensed vendors for production use.
The new mascot logoswas were unveiled at the ODU Big Blue Summer Camp that is run by ODU's Department of Recreation and Wellness.
"We are extremely excited to unveil the Big Blue logos," said Jim Clanton, ODU's Director of Licensing. "Rickabaugh Graphics did an excellent job of capturing the essence of Big Blue, which is Monarch Spirit, Pride and Fun. These logos also are a great addition to the Old Dominion library of trademarks which help strengthen the University brand."
Big Blue merchandise is available at the University Village bookstore and select retailers in Norfolk.
"Having these new logos will also allow our licensees to develop new products in the future to offer our Monarch Fans and Alumni," Clanton said.
